First person which strikes in my mind in the list of motivational speekers is ADOLF HITLER, he controled and completely transformed huge number of people with his speech.

here's a reason for MLK coming up a lot, the 'dream' speech was brilliant within its context, same for Winston Churchill's wartime speeches, on a different track there's Geoffery Howe's resignation speech in the English Parliament which shafted Margaret Thatcher
